I sit at the very edge of my dreams
I decide to sit and wait
My arms reaching out
My heart reaching in.

Ever since the disclosure of
Solitude's world-unifying plans
I sit and wonder...
I sit and wait.

Ever since agony's totalitarian scheme
Triumphed on a global scale
I have put my life on hold
My legs dangling off the cliff.

I look at what lies in front of me
Conflicting contradictions, concocted excuses
Resting on the threshold of hope
I wait and wonder...

They say tomorrow will bring bliss
But today's far-flung faith destroys peace
As a gaze into everlasting oblivion
I take my time, your time and theirs.
