CASAVARIA TO PUBLISH BOOK II OF DON QUIJOTE, IN SPANISH
22 July 2005

Casavaria Publishing, which publishes Sentido.tv, is soon to release part two, or book II of El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha, by Miguel de Cervantes. Part I was published earlier this year in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of its initial publication, and of four centuries of amazing worldwide success.

Book II was initially published 10 years later, in 1615, but Casavaria's first edition of the book will be released this year, to make its Quijote offerings more complete. Even before publishing Book I, Casavaria had added to the wide repertoire of literature related to and about Don Quijote, by publishing Don Quijote, la tercera parte, by Alberto Báez Izquierdo.

Casavaria intends also to add another Quijote book to its collection, sometime next winter: Inútil diligencia: ensayos sobre el Quijote. The publisher also seeks to develop a travel guide, infused with various grammar guides, literature and historical information, about various destinations in Spain.

Through that project, the independent publisher hopes to educate people about the historical landscape, and the culture underlying one of world literature's greatest books. There are no fixed dates for the release of these works in progress. [s]
